Worthy helps Notre Dame clinch TRAC; Wyse helps Archbold defeat Delta

Notre Dame 72, Lima Senior 52

Jayda Worthy scored a game-high 28 points to lead the host Eagles past the Spartans on Thursday to clinch the Three Rivers Athletic Conference in girls basketball action.

Kaayla McIntyre had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Notre Dame (17-3, 13-0 TRAC), while teammate Tierra Floyd scored 19 points.

Stacia Allen had 15 points and Essence Cowen had 13 for Lima Senior (11-8, 7-6).

Archbold 44, Delta 33

ARCHBOLD — Cassidy Wyse scored a game-high 16 points to help the host Blue Steaks (19-1, 8-0) win the Northwest Ohio Athletic League.

Brigan Wymer and Victoria Burdo scored 10 points apiece to lead the Panthers (14-6, 4-4).

Northview 68, Maumee 27

Kendall McCoy scored a game-high 15 points to lead the host Wildcats past the Panthers.

Emily Campos and Mackenzie Riggs both scored 11 points for Northview (10-8, 9-4 NLL).

Joeal Olman lead Maumee (0-18, 0-13) with 11 points.

Southview 59, Bowling Green 43

The Cougars’ switch to a zone defense in the second and third quarters, outscoring the Bobcats 26-10 to pull away in the TRAC.

Bailey Hejl scored a game-high 19 points to lead Southview (14-6, 11-2 TRAC), which led 24-20 at halftime. Taryn Stanley added 13 points.

Hailey Glandorff scored 12 points to lead Bowling Green (11-10, 7-6). Sydney Morlock added 10.

Whitmer 45, Central Catholic 41

Keshyra McCarver scored 17 points, and Abbey Sarabia added 10 as the Panthers (14-6) earned a road victory in the TRAC.

Demi Russell finished with 16 points to lead the Irish (12-8, 8-5), who trailed 30-16 at halftime but rallied with a 16-9 fourth-quarter run.

Findlay 50, Clay 41

FINDLAY — The Trojans warmed up immediately after halftime, getting out in transition for a 16-9 third-quarter run to help secure a TRAC win.

Taylor Stanfield scored 13 points and Christina McQueen 12 to lead Findlay (15-4, 10-2 TRAC), which entered halftime up 22-20.

Morgan Connor led Clay (5-13, 3-8) with a game-high 15 points.

Anthony Wayne 41, Napoleon 20

McKenzie Krieg had 12 points and Sara Zankl 11 to lead the host Generals past the Wildcats in a NLL contest.

Kayla Gerken led Napoleon with 10 points.

Fayette 43, North Central 29

FAYETTE — The Eagles clinched at least a share of the Buckeye Border Conference championship by jumping out early and cruising from there.

Kaela Seiler finished with a game-high 18 points for Fayette (16-4, 8-1 BBC), which led 19-6 at halftime. Taylor Griffiths added 13.

Bralyn Wyrick paced North Central (9-11, 2-7) with 13 points. Shaylee Oyer finished with 11.

Bryan 45, Evergreen 28

METAMORA — Hannah Schimmoeller scored a game-high 19 points, which included 12 at the free-throw line, to lead the Golden Bears.

Makayla Dennis added 11 points for Bryan (13-8, 4-4 NWOAL), which led 15-7 at halftime and dominated the third quarter 17-6.

Haili Mossing finished with 13 points, tops for Evergreen (10-10, 3-5).

Toledo Christian 58, Emmanuel Christian 26

The Eagles jumped out to a 17-8 lead through one quarter, then controlled play after that in their TAAC victory.

Darian Westmeyer and Faith Johnson both scored 17 points for Toledo Christian (18-3, 13-0 TAAC), which outscored the Warriors 29-8 after halftime.

Mackenzie McCauley (nine points) and Mymy Allen (eight) led the offense for Emmanuel Christian (5-10, 3-8).

Gibsonburg 39, Ottawa Hills 29

The Golden Bears outscored the Green Bears 12-4 in the fourth quarter to earn the road win.

Marisa Alvarado tallied 10 points for Gibsonburg (8-12, 6-6).

Michelle Healy paced Ottawa Hills (9-8, 7-5) with eight points.

Cardinal Stritch 39, Northwood 33

Abby Mass and Cecelia Gozdowski each scored 11 points to lead the Cardinals (10-9, 8-4) to the road win.

Alex Rable led Northwood (3-15, 3-9) with 13 points, while Megan Roach chipped in with 10.

St. Ursula 47, Fremont Ross 42

FREMONT — Megan Burns scored a game-high 17 points, and Shelby Linenkugel added 12 as the Arrows (7-11) earned a win in the TRAC.

Abbi Hasselbach finished with 14 points for Fremont Ross.

Perrysburg 54, Springfield 34

The Yellow Jackets remained undefeated in the Northern Lakes League as Abby Sattler poured in a game-high 18 points in the road win. Sarah Baer chipped in with 11 for Perrysburg (17-1, 13-0).

Natalie Yoder tallied a team-high 17 points for Springfield (8-14, 3-11).

Oak Harbor 49, Margaretta 45

CASTALIA — Oak Harbor trailed 28-17 at halftime, but took control in the second half to win in Sandusky Bay Conference action.

Andrea Cecil scored a team-high 15 points for Oak Harbor, while Abbie Gezo added 14.

Kelsey Kromer had a game-high 16 points for Margaretta.

Patrick Henry 42, Wauseon 41

HAMLER — Kelsey Tietje finished with a game-high 19 points, helping the Patriots withstand a late rally in NWOAL play.

Katy Hammer added 12 points for Patrick Henry, which led 22-19 at halftime. Alyssa Reed led Wauseon with 13 points.

Montpelier 53, Liberty Center 42

LIBERTY CENTER — Lauren Dye (15 points), Hannah Blake (14), Leah Mass (10), and Baylee Hageman (10) all scored in double digits as the Locomotives won.

Niki Meyer led Liberty Center with 13 points, while Andrea Weirach added 11.

Danbury 43, Maumee Valley 7

LAKESIDE — Erin Lavelle led eight Danbury players with 14 points as the Lakers (10-11, 9-4 TAAC) pulled away.

Maumee Valley (1-17, 0-12) trailed 25-4 at halftime.

Pettisville 42, Hilltop 29

PETTISVILLE — Dana Fricke (15 points) and Lauren Hostetler (14) led the Blackbirds (15-1, 9-0) to a BBC victory.

Hannah Bleikamp scored 12 for Hilltop, which trailed 15-9 at halftime and was outscored 14-4 in the third quarter.
