Waite girls team claims City League semifinal victory

Waite held off Start for a 34-31 victory today night in a City League tournament semifinal at Scott.

Latesha Craig scored a team-high 12 points and Janae Kenny finished with nine points to lead the Indians.

Torie McDufie led the Spartans with 12 points.

Waite will play Rogers in the CL tournament title game on Saturday at Waite.
