Emmanuel Christian’s boys and girls basketball teams have reached the Ohio Christian School Athletic Association state semifinals Friday at Ohio Christian University in Circleville.

The Warrior boys (12-12), coached by Dave Regnier, are the reigning OCSAA state champions. It is the first trip to the final four for the girls team (8-12), coached by Kelly Harrington.

Ryan Creech leads the boys team, averaging 17.0 points and 7.7 rebounds. Mylin Allen tops the girls in scoring, averaging 10.3 points, while Mackenzie McCauley averages 9.3 points and 5.0 rebounds.

The OCSAA tournament is for Christian, private, and charter schools that do not participate in the Ohio High School Athletic Association tournament.
