■ School: Anthony Wayne

■ Class: Senior

■ Height: 6-10

■ Position: Center

■ Key stats: He has led Generals to the farthest tournament run in school history, capturing Division I district titles. The Generals (20-4), who won their first Northern Lakes League title since 1998, will play Rogers in a regional semifinal. Donnal, who will play in college at Michigan, improved every aspect of his game. An imposing presence inside, he could also step outside and drain 3-pointers. The all-district and All-NLL first-team selection is a shot blocker and effective rebounder. He averaged 18.1 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks. He shot 66 percent from the field and 35 percent from the arc, and he made 76 percent of his free throws. He averaged 19.6 points and 9.2 rebounds as a junior. He is the school’s all time leader in rebounding (683) and ranks second in scoring (1,302).

■ Coach says: “He has done a good job of becoming a complete player. He is a dominant post presence, but can also step outside. His most valuable asset is that he alters so many shots. It's tough for opponents to finish. He blocks shots or gets the rebound and outlets the ball. He is our anchor down low at both ends. He altered his game to stay out of foul trouble. He loves the game of basketball and has worked very hard at it. I think he will fit in well at Michigan. He's without a doubt the best player in Anthony Wayne's history.” — Bryan Borcherdt
