COLUMBUS — T.J. Metzger's free throw with 1.1 seconds left in overtime lifted Ottawa-Glandorf to a 61-60 victory today against Ironton in the opening Division III semifinal at the boys state tournament at Ohio State's Value City Arena.

After his foul shot, Ironton turned the ball over with 0.1 seconds left and the Titans ran out the clock.

The Titans (25-3) play Saturday with a chance for their first title since 2008 and third overall.

Metzger had 25 points. But Ottawa-Glandorf needed a layup from Matt Kaufman with 0.9 seconds left in regulation to send the game to overtime at 55-55.

Trey Fletcher had 27 points and 13 rebounds for Ironton.

VERSAILLES 64,LEAVITTSBURG LABRAE 52

Kyle Ahrens and Damien Richard each had 21 points and Versailles pulled away in the fourth quarter in a D-III semifinal.

Versailles (23-5) goes for its first state title Saturday.

LaBrae (24-4) led 37-33 at the half and trailed only 49-47 early in the final period when Versailles went on a 13-0.

Nick Wells scored 16 of his 18 points in the first three quarters for the Irish. V.J. King added 14 and Jalen Hudson 12..

The Irish (20-9) play the Kettering Alter-Columbus Watterson winner Saturday and will get a chance for a seventh title to tie Middletown for the all-time Ohio lead. The Irish's last championship was in 2011.

Reece Patton had 21 points and Michael Hall 15 for Warren (26-2).
