Special teams produce 2 TDs in Mules’ blowout

TEMPERANCE — Bedford racked up 302 total yards on offense and scored two touchdowns on special teams in its season opener Friday night.

Alec Hullibarger carried the ball 16 times for 143 yards and touchdowns on runs of 20 and 12 yards.

Devon Woolford also scored two touchdowns on runs of 10 and three yards. Justin Strickland added a five-yard TD run.

Colton Durbin scored on a 25-yard blocked punt return, and Connor Clements returned a punt for a 49-yard touchdown.

Utica Ford totaled only 123 yards and four first downs.
