Nestled on the banks of a 12-acre pond in The Quarry, the home at 2864 Back Bay Road is a gem, filled with wonderful built-ins and so much more. Come and see it this weekend it won t last long!

Step inside to the home at 2864 Back Bay Road and experience a true luxury home, filled with amenities. Builder EJ Van Leuven has created a spacious home where nothing is wanting.

The exterior is predominantly brick, in a unique variegated brown, with dark brown siding. Walk past the side load garage on the poured concrete walkway to the front door. Sheltered under a bricked archway, the front door is resplendent with sidelights and transom.

Inside, the foyer rises two stories, with a plant ledge below the second story window and a beautiful brushed nickel chandelier. One is immediately taken by the Brazilian teak hardwood floors in the foyer, dining room and great room. To the right is the open formal dining area, which has a nicely recessed alcove perfect for a buffet or china cabinet. Crown molding sets off this room quite nicely.

To the left are a guest closet, stairs to the second floor, and behind a door, stairs to the full basement, which is plumbed for a bathroom. Just off a short hall is the master bedroom; we ll return to that in a moment.

Straight ahead is the great room. The corner fireplace has a tile surround. Many fireplaces in homes expensive and in those less costly have tile surrounds, but this one is truly exceptional. In shades of brown, is extends to the hearth, which is flush to the floor. Smaller tiles form an accent around the opening, and a white painted mantle finishes off the top. The fireplace is gas.

The great room s vaulted ceiling with fan lends the perfect note of elegance to this home. The back wall of the room features French doors topped by large transom windows; these doors lead to the irregular-shaped, poured, stamped concrete patio.

Off the great room is the kitchen, which also includes space for informal dining and an open sunroom. The kitchen floor is tile, with a pattern inset in the sunroom. The sunroom boasts a bow window overlooking the backyard, and beyond that, the pond, as well as a side patio perfect for grilling out. The sunroom s ceiling fan with light keeps the room cool on the warmest days.

The kitchen is a cook s delight, with black granite countertops, a slate tile backsplash, cherry-finished cabinets topped by crown molding, and GE appliances. An island in the center offers a veggie sink, making this a perfect prep surface. Nearby is a built-in desk. Light is provided by pendants over the island, a brushed nickel chandelier in the informal dining area, and under-cabinet lighting.

A short back hall leads to a powder room, the three and a half car garage, a coat closet, a utility closet, and a door to the driveway and side yard.

As you ll recall, we mentioned the master bedroom, off the great room. This room would be a pleasure to wake up in. Large bow windows overlook the pond, and the tray ceiling adds height and character to the room. Faux-painted walls create the look of leather.

Off the master bedroom is a gentleman s dressing area, with a double closet and a linen closet. Just beyond that is the lady s closet, a large, walk-in space with plenty of built-ins even drawers. Next is the master bathroom, where the double vanity is topp3ed by granite, and the cabinets are maple with a cherry finish. The floor is tile, and leads to the two-person jetted tub and the walk-in shower with seat. Both the shower and tub surround are in a stone tile with brown accent. There is a separate water closet.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with double closets. A hall bath here has a double vanity and a privacy door, keeping the bath and water closet separate from the vanity area. A large bonus room above the garage would be perfect as an extra bedroom or a media room. The hall forms a catwalk over the great room, offering splendid views of the room below and the pond outside.

This spectacular home also has a sprinkler system and security alarm system.
