No, it s The River s Edge in Perrysburg, but it s as close to heaven as you ll find, especially if you re looking for a well-built home in a friendly community. The River s Edge is a development by Ridge Stone Builders, one of the area s premier builders and developers.

But this is no cookie-cutter community. The master plan allows for variety in size, color and style. The community includes walking trails and seven ponds enjoy an evening stroll and get to know your neighbors.

And then, of course, there is the home. Located at 2344 Homestead, a poured concrete walkway leads you to the long, covered front porch. The gray stone and vinyl front give the home a New England feel, as do the porch rail and carriage lights.

Within, everything is built to last. Pella windows and ThermaTru exterior doors offer excellent energy efficiency. The ceiling and walls are fully insulated, and a Tappan furnace heats the home.

But that pales when compared to the beauty and sheer livability of this new home. The entrance is highlighted by a hardwood floor, with a second floor balcony overlooking the foyer. To the right, behind French doors, is an office with tray ceiling and mullioned windows. With its closet and shared bath, this room would also make a nice, bright bedroom.

The bathroom is a full bath with step-in shower and a vanity with a granite countertop. The floor here is easy-maintenance vinyl, but looks so much like ceramic tile, you will have to touch it to know the difference. White beveled cabinets with crown molding give the space a light, clean air, without seeming sterile. They are topped by Corian in a light oatmeal color. Pendant lights hang above a peninsula snack bar, which offers work space for the cook, or can be used as a serving buffet, since it is next to the dining area.

The dining area has a sliding door leading to a lovely screened porch and the poured concrete patio beyond. This porch is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a warm summer evening.

Just off the great room is the master bedroom. A deep tray ceiling emphasizes the height of this room, and a fan offers year-round comfort. The master bath has a double vanity in white, a deep jetted tub under a glass block window, and a step-in shower with seat. There is also a large, walk-in closet and a separate water closet.

Steps to the upstairs are located just off the great room. The landing creates a balcony overlooking the great room, affording a wonderful view of this room. At the top of the stairs is an unfinished bonus room. Let your imagination run wild here it could be easily converted to a media room, a bedroom, a study, or a playroom.

The finished bedroom on this level has a vaulted ceiling with fan and two double closets. There is also a hall bath and a linen closet.
