Come Home To The Village of Brookhaven

10/26/2007

Perrysburg is a booming city, with new industry, retail and schools blossoming along Route 25. New homes are cropping up, too, with some of the finest located in The Village of Brookhaven, a new neighborhood by Saba Custom Homes off Five Point Road.

Our featured home, at 6139 Brookhaven Blvd., is a two-story home encompassing 2,340 square feet. The exterior is tan vinyl and red brick, and a blacktop driveway leads to the two and a half car garage. A poured, stamped concrete walkway invites you to the covered front porch. The front door is flanked by sidelights.

Inside, the two-story foyer, highlighted by a graceful chandelier, provides an elegant welcome. A ceramic tile floor and a guest closet complete this space.

To the right is the formal dining room. You will love having holiday dinners in this stylish space. An oil-rubbed bronze chandelier descends from the ceiling, and a large window opens the room considerably. Nearby are the steps to the full basement, a feature standard in all Saba homes.

Straight ahead is the great room. A row of three windows is topped by three transoms, allowing sunlight to stream into this tall room. The room is dominated by a gas fireplace with an oversize white wood mantel and tile surround.

Just off the great room is the eat-in kitchen. Sliding doors near the informal dining area lead to the patio, which is poured and stamped to match the front walkway.

The kitchen is both stylish and functional, with a center island snack bar. Maple cabinets have a sorrel finish and crown molding, and granite countertops make a bold statement. Pendant lights hang above the island and the sink, and recessed lighting offers greater illumination. GE stainless appliances include a refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher. A large walk-in pantry provides storage.

A back hall leads to a powder room and the door to the garage, as well as a utility room with cabinets, a countertop and a sink. There is plenty of room here to store and work on crafts projects, as well as the family laundry. A closet is a convenient place to hang up coats when coming in through the garage.

The staircase to the second floor is located off the foyer. White balusters and a maple handrail make a nice contrast. At the top of the staircase, the landing becomes a balcony overlooking the foyer.

To the left are the first two bedrooms. Each has a tray ceiling and a double closet. Across the hall from these is a lovely bedroom with a cathedral ceiling. Decorated as a little girl s room, it sports a fanciful chandelier. Next door is a full bath.

At the end of the hall is the master suite. A deep tray ceiling with fan adds height and interest to this room. The spa-like master bath is a private retreat, with elegant touches at every turn.

A double vanity in maple with a sorrel finish has a white cultured marble top. Under the window is a large garden tub. Imagine soaking here under the barrel vaulted ceiling and delicate oil rubbed bronze chandelier. A step-in shower, private water closet, and walk-in closet complete the master bath.

Saba Custom Homes has created a marvelous home in a very nice neighborhood. Prime lots are still available, and there are 10 floor plans to choose from.
