3 Bedrooms 1.5 Baths Huge 4 Car+ Garage Quiet Neighborhood

The neighborhood is quiet, with large lots and mature trees. The home at 1832 Wildwood Road is nice, well-maintained, and inviting.

And the garage? Wow! If someone wants a place to work on cars, crafts or hobbies, this is the place.

This four-car, heated garage was created with a car enthusiast in mind. From the front, it looks like a typical two and a half car garage. But with its depth, it can easily hold four vehicles, with plenty of room left over for tools, bicycles, and all the things a family accumulates. A spacious workbench and an air compressor are also part of the package.

On the side of the garage, another overhead door lets you pull a car out of the shop to work on sunny days. And additional storage is available in the large attic.

The home is completely charming, clad in lemon yellow vinyl siding with black shutters. A large covered front porch is surrounded by shrubs and flowers. The front door is flanked by sidelights.

Inside, the living room boasts new Berber carpet underfoot. Above, coved ceilings are a detail not often found in more modern homes. The windows here are a wonder: large mullioned casements with leaded glass open in, and close with espagnolette locking. Storms and screens on the outside add extra protection from the weather.

The dining room features new laminate flooring. Sliding doors here lead to the deck and offer a terrific view of the long backyard. The kitchen is next, with beautifully maintained pine cabinetry accented by wrought iron hardware. A new Wilsonart Hi-def countertop has been added, in a lovely caramel color, as has a new sink. The appliances will remain with the home.

Steps from the kitchen lead down to a side door, and to the basement. The basement is quite large, with hookups for a washer and dryer. Newer glass block windows allow sunlight while providing security. A half bath is located here, as well as the end of the clothes chute no carrying clothes down two flights in this home! A shower could easily be installed here.

The staircase to the second floor is located in the living room. The first bedroom is the largest, and has access to a small airing deck a delightful place for a chair and a small table. Sit back here and enjoy morning coffee, or soak up some afternoon sun. This bedroom boasts a deep double closet.

Off the second floor s hall is a large bathroom, newly remodeled, with a double vanity in oak and a new tub and shower combination. A large linen closet is also in the hall, as is access to the attic.

The other two bedrooms are smaller and located at the front of the home. They share a deep double closet.

This home and the huge man cave garage have been lovingly and meticulously maintained. A newer roof, furnace and air conditioning mean that the home should be easily maintained by the new owner. Many of its features, such as the coved ceilings and original casement windows, are not usually found in newer homes. For someone who wants an established neighborhood and a large, kid-friendly backyard, this is the perfect home.
