If you've always wanted to own a newly-constructed home, this is your perfect opportunity. And when you see the homes in this Millbury neighborhood, and hear about the incentives offered right now, you'll know that this is the place where you were meant to be.

This is the last weekend to be eligible for the $8,000 first time homebuyer and $6,500 returning homebuyer tax credits. To be eligible, the buyer must enter into a binding contract to purchase the home on or before April 30, 2010. In most circumstances, the closing must occur before June 30.

In addition to that very lucrative offer, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is offering a no-interest home mortgage loan to spur people to move to rural areas. It is one of the few no-interest loans still available in these days of tightening credit, and buyers will not have to pay mortgage insurance.

Although this is a rural area, it is just fifteen minutes from downtown Toledo, and has easy access to major highways. The neighborhood is located off Bradner Road, just south of Woodville Road. It is in the Lake Local School System, rated Effective by the State of Ohio.

The home at 29045 Greystone is a perfect example of the homes located here. The exterior is taupe vinyl siding with brick skirting. A poured concrete driveway leads to the large garage, and a small walkway takes visitors to the front door.

The front door is long-lasting fiberglass, stained here to look like wood. A leaded glass window adds an elegant note.

Inside, the entry has a slate tile-look vinyl floor. To the right is a guest closet and access to the two-car garage. The door to the full basement is also located here.

Ahead is the great room. This space has a very impressive vaulted ceiling; the many angles make it appear very dramatic and lush. At the front of the home, the great room extends out, with bay windows creating a wonderful conversation spot.

A tall archway leads to the kitchen and dining area. The cathedral ceiling here is quite dramatic, but the real stars are the maple cabinets. Stained a light blonde, the wood grain shines beautifully. The counters are topped with a stone-look laminate, and extend to create a snack bar. Appliances are included in the price of the home. A brushed nickel chandelier illuminates the dining area, which is big enough for a full-sized dining table. Sliding doors lead to the back yard; French doors are available here as well.

A hall leads to the sleeping quarters. Two secondary bedrooms each have a unique feature that one doesn't often see in homes in this price range: each has a coffered ceiling, with the ceiling fan inset. They also boast double closets that are quite large.

A hall bath has stylish brushed nickel fixtures and a maple vanity that matches those beautiful kitchen cabinets. It is topped with a ceramic countertop.

At the end of the hall, convenient to the bedrooms, is the laundry room. A linen closet is also nearby.

The master suite's ample bedroom includes a deep tray ceiling with a fan to keep things comfortable. A walk-in closet provides storage for your things.

The master bath boasts a maple vanity, and a large step-in shower with two seats.

This delightful, 1,500 square foot home features a high efficiency furnace and air conditioning, and energy-saving double paned windows. While this house is under contract, the builder, Savage Homes, can have an identical home constructed in plenty of time to meet the June 30 deadline for the federal tax credit.

The home at 29045 Greystone in Millbury is open today from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. As shown, it can be replicated for $159,900. For more information, or to arrange for a private tour of the home, contact Kevin Warren of The Danberry Company at 419-320-2253.
