This week’s featured home is a model that puts other homes to shame – and is a fine example of the type of design and construction you can expect from Saba Custom Homes.

Located at 3265 Sterlingwood Lane in the Village of Brookhaven in Perrysburg, it is the Barrington floor plan. Clad in red brick and grey vinyl, the home rises two stories with elegant white pillars supporting the front porch overhang.

Inside, the soaring foyer features a lovely brushed nickel chandelier, visible through the large transom window above the front door. Oversized porcelain tile flooring leads from the foyer to the kitchen and beyond.

The cabinets are maple with a chocolate finish, topped with beautiful Santa Cecilia granite. A backsplash in glass and stone is a highlight of this space. Pendant lights shine down on the island, and stainless appliances are included.

One can enjoy informal dining in the kitchen as well, in view of sliding doors that lead to the good-sized patio.

Beyond the kitchen is a short hall that leads to a mudroom area, with built-in lockers for storing bookbags, jackets and sports gear. Access to the two and a half car garage is here, as are a coat closet, the laundry room, and a powder room.

Off the foyer, a staircase rises to the second floor. At the top of the stairs, a catwalk acts as a balcony overlooking the great room and the foyer.
