Now is a bad time to hike taxes

3/17/2010

In his March 7 column, “Health-care reform: Not pretty, but needed,” Blade Editor David Kushma admits that taxes would be immediately imposed, but benefits would not take place for years.

Use the correct term; it's called a Ponzi scheme. If I tried to fund any program using these parameters, I would end up in prison. I have never seen such blind allegiance.

Mr. Kushma and the rest of the lemmings will happily follow President Obama off any cliff. Raising taxes during a recession is always a bad idea.
