Reno to speak on Parkinson s at MCO event

Former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno, who has lived with Parkinson s disease since 1995, will discuss the disorder and her years in the Clinton administration at 3:45 p.m. March 26 in the Eleanor N. Dana Conference Center at the Medical College of Ohio.

The talk is sponsored by the MCO Center for Neurological Disorders. Parkinson s disease is characterized by trembling, stiffness, slowness of movement, and impaired balance and coordination.

The event will include updates from four MCO neurologists on research into Parkinson s, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and dementia.
