St. Vincent CEO leaves post

St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center s president and chief executive left Mercy Health Partners on Thursday after about 1 years at the Toledo hospital s helm, Mercy announced yesterday.

Michael McEachern came to St. Vincent in January, 2007, following a stint as chief operating officer at Sisters of Charity Providence Hospitals in Columbia, S.C. A Mercy spokesman yesterday declined to comment further on Mr. McEachern s deparature, including whether it was voluntary or involuntary.

For now, Dr. Imran Andrabi, St. Vincent senior vice president of operational transformation, will coordinate the hospital s administration in cooperation with Mercy s regional office, a Mercy spokesman said.
