Monroe County health department marks 70th year
9/17/2012MONROE -- To celebrate its 70th anniversary year, the Monroe County Health Department is holding a free event filled with games, food, entertainment, a raffle, and informational tables on the department's history.
The celebration is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 22 at 2353 S. Custer Rd. in Monroe.
Visitors can bring old cell phones to recycle and be put in a drawing to win a gift card.
