Governor picks 2 from area for state boards

COLUMBUS — Gov. John Kasich has reappointed Randall D. Oostra, president and CEO of ProMedica Health System, to the Third Frontier Advisory Board through March 14, 2017. The Third Frontier program invests in high-tech research and development.

The governor reappointed Dr. Ryan R. Zimmerman, owner of Westview Veterinary Hospital in Fremont, to the Ohio Livestock Care Standards Board through Jan. 25, 2017.
