Wood County Committee on Aging seeks candidates
7/14/2014The Wood County Committee on Aging governing board is looking for nominees for the board election. The group is looking for candidates for the two-year term beginning in 2015.
Candidates must be Wood County residents, 60 or older, or community leaders. Go to wccoa.net to get a nomination form or contact the Wood County Senior Center at 419-353-5661. Nominations must be returned to the nomination committee chairman for the WCCOA at 305 N. Main St., Bowling Green by Aug. 15.
Board members are expected to attend monthly meetings, participate in orientations for new board members, help with fund-raising campaigns based on ability, and serve as ambassadors for the WCCOA.
