PORT HURON, Mich. - Miss Southeast Michigan, Rebekah Decker, has been chosen as the state's delegate in the Miss USA pageant.

Miss Decker was crowned the winner Saturday during the Miss Michigan USA pageant at McMorran Place. Kyleen Krstich of Troy won the Miss Michigan Teen USA contest.

The two-day pageant, which included 90 contestants and about 1,200 of their family and friends, gave a boost to area businesses and hotels for the second straight year. The show is scheduled to be in Port Huron again next year, and local officials are trying to sign the show for a fourth year, the Times Herald reported.

Miss Decker has the honor of competing in March for the title of Miss USA in Gary, Ind.
