Hudson man held in weekend incident

HUDSON, Mich. - A Hudson man accused of resisting arrest and damaging a police car Saturday night was arraigned yesterday in Lenawee County District Court on four charges.

Jackie Wayne Smith, 35, who was arrested in Hudson Township, is being held on $100,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 28.

He appeared in court on charges of second-degree home invasion; resisting and obstructing a police officer; larceny between $1,000 and $20,000, and malicious destruction of police or fire department property.
