Tipton man faces trial for alleged molestation

ADRIAN — A Tipton, Mich. man will go on trial in October for allegedly molesting a boy in 2001 and again in April.

Lenawee County Circuit Court Judge Harvey Koselka set two trials yesterday for Randall Fields, 45. On Oct. 21, he will face four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with multiple variables and two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with multiple variables for allegedly molesting a teenage boy. The offenses allegedly occurred between March and April, 2001, at Mr. Fields' home in Franklin Township. He will also stand trial Oct. 22 on five counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct with multiple variables for the alleged April offense with the same boy.
