Clegg to fill open seat on Adrian commission

10/3/2002

ADRIAN - City commissioners selected a new member at a special meeting Tuesday with an unanimous vote in favor of Michael Clegg.

Mr. Clegg will finish the term vacated earlier this year when K.Z. Bolton left to become a Lenawee County commissioner. Ms. Bolton was appointed to fill the seat left open after the death of Commissioner Hugh Flippo in July.

The selection of Mr. Clegg keeps an eastside presence on the commission. A partner in Clegg Electric on Tecumseh Street, Mr. Clegg will take his oath of office at Monday's city commission meeting.

Mr. Clegg was chosen from six candidates who filed requests to be considered for the position.
