Finale to University of Michigan's spring drills open to public

4/10/2007

ANN ARBOR The University of Michigan football team will conclude its annual spring drills with an open practice Saturday at Michigan Stadium.

The final spring practice session, starting at 12:30 p.m., is free and open to the public. It will last two hours. Gates will open at 11 a.m. Fans are asked to sit on the east, west and south sides of the stadium since a portion of the north end zone is under construction to replace the cement and bleachers.

Parking will be available in the blue lot around Crisler Arena as well as at Pioneer High School (located on the corner of Stadium Boulevard and Main Street).

In addition to team drills, the practice will also feature a scrimmage.

The Wolverines open the 2007 season with four straight home games beginning Sept. 1 against Appalachian State.
