The End Zone: Michigan

9/10/2009

ND, just 30-21 under Weis, has risen to glory in the same way the newspaper and automotive industries have. But the Irish really want to be elite again. So does Michigan. Neither will be able to claim such status after Saturday, but should UM prevail it will take an undeniable step toward mattering once again. At stake for UM is a possible 4-0 start, which would appear inevitable as marshmallows Eastern Michigan and Indiana stroll into town the next two weekends. Hey, I'm no coach — I don't operate on a one-game-at-a-time basis. While we're here, UM has another gimme coming in October against Delaware State.

So UM is 4-0 after a month, its freshmen quarterbacks are ripening and all skepticism toward the coaching staff is erased. Feeling good about your team, huh?

Speaking of coaches, RichRodriguez could publish A Guide to Selecting Savory Business Partners and I'd recommend it to you over The New Gold Standard.
