Wolverines dominate 2nd half in 45-17 win over EMU

ANN ARBOR – With an improved defensive effort, University of Michigan dominated the second half in a 45-17 win over Eastern Michigan at the Big House.

The Wolverines (3-0) led just 24-17 at halftime but completely controlled the final two quarters, as Denard Robinson ran for two touchdowns and Martavious Odoms one. UM's defense forced two turnovers in the second half, an interception by Craig Roh and a fumble recovery by Brandon Graham.

UM starting quarterback Tate Forcier was knocked out of the game in the third quarter but returned before giving way to Robinson. Forcier played just so-so for an encore to last week's brilliant performance against Notre Dame.

Carlos Brown ran for just shy of 200 yards, while adding two touchdowns as starter Brandon Minor played sparingly due to a coach's decision.
