TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama coach Nick Saban says the Crimson Tide will play Michigan at a neutral site in 2012.

Saban said Thursday evening on his weekly radio show that the two tradition-rich teams will play at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas “probably for sure.” They are two of major college football's winningest programs.

Saban also said the Tide will likely play Atlantic Coast Conference teams in Atlanta in 2013 and 2014. None of those games have been formally announced.

Alabama opened the previous two seasons in the Georgia Dome against Clemson and Virginia Tech. Clemson and Auburn have already been scheduled to meet there to start the 2012 season.

Alabama and Michigan last played each other in the 1999 Orange Bowl.
