Former Michigan cornerback Cullen Christian will transfer to Pittsburgh, he told the Web site SuperPrep.com Monday.

Christian, who last week said he intended to leave Michigan, will be reunited with Tony Gibson, his position coach from this past season who is now serving in a similar role at Pitt. Calvin Magee (offensive coordinator) and Tony Dews (tight ends) are also now coaching at Pitt after working at Michigan the past three seasons.

Christian is the second UM defensive back to transfer this offseason to Pitt, joining safety Ray Vinopal who made the switch in March.

Christian, who played in 10 games last season as a true freshman, attended high school at Pittsburgh Penn Hills.
