Big Michigan football fan? Big guest list? Michigan Stadium now available for weddings

Michigan Stadium is affectionately known as the "Big House."

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — If you're planning a wedding and love Michigan football — or maybe you have a really big guest list — keep Michigan Stadium in mind.

The University of Michigan Athletic Department on Thursday announced that the Big House is available for weddings, corporate events and photo shoots. The department says wedding ceremonies even may be held at Michigan Stadium's 50-yard line.

The department says some of its other facilities are available for rent, including the Jack Roth Stadium Club, Regents Guest Area, Athletic Director's Suite, Junge Family Champions Center, Michigan Stadium Press Box and the Golf Course Clubhouse.

Photo shoots may be scheduled at the stadium. And guided tours also will be offered at many Michigan sports facilities.
