Michigan adds Arkansas, Hawaii games to nonconference schedule

ANN ARBOR — Michigan's athletic department announced Tuesday that the football team will play a home-and-home series against Arkansas in 2018 and 2019, in addition to releasing its 2015 and 2016 football schedules.

Michigan is scheduled to host Arkansas in its season opener Sept. 1, 2018, and will face Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark., on Aug. 31, 2019.

Michigan completed its 2015 schedule by adding BYU and its 2016 schedule by adding Hawaii. The Wolverines host the Cougars on Sept. 26, 2015, and host the Warriors in their season opener at Michigan Stadium on Sept. 3, 2016.
