ANN ARBOR -- The Michigan athletic department announced this morning that Devin Gardner will start at quarterback for today's game against Northwestern at Michigan Stadium.

Gardner replaces Denard Robinson, who will miss the second straight game because of an injury to the ulnar nerve in his throwing arm. In last week's 35-13 win at Minnesota, Gardner completed 12 of 18 passes for 234 yards and two touchdowns, and was intercepted once.
