Michigan offensive tackle Taylor Lewan has been named a first-team Associated Press All-American selection. The AP released its All-America first-, second- and third-teams today.

In a conference call this morning, ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper, Jr., projected Lewan, a redshirt junior, as the second tackle to be taken in the 2013 draft, behind Texas A&M's Luke Joeckel. Both Lewan and Michigan coach Brady Hoke have said Lewan will decide on his professional future after No. 19 Michigan faces South Carolina in the Outback Bowl on Jan. 1 in Tampa, Fla.

Ohio State defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins, who announced Monday that he will enter the NFL Draft, and cornerback Bradley Roby are second-team All-American selections. Ohio State defensive end John Simon and Bowling Green defensive tackle Chris Jones are third-team All-American selections.
