ANN ARBOR -- Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson pled guilty Monday to a driving with a suspended or revoked license charge, according to court records.

"He was taking care of a ticket," Michigan spokesman Justin Dickens told ESPN.

ESPN reported that Robinson was cited for driving with a suspended or revoked license Nov. 4 in Bath Township, Mich. Robinson initially pled not guilty to the charge but missed a Dec. 14 court date.

A bench warrant against Robinson was canceled Monday, as Robinson pled guilty to the charge along with having expired license plates, and paid fines for both.

Michigan faces South Carolina on Jan. 1 in the Outback Bowl in Tampa, Fla.
