Michigan tops Northwestern 68-46

ANN ARBOR -- Michigan easily passed its first test as the top team in the country in a 68-46 victory over Northwestern today at Crisler Arena.

Trey Burke led four Wolverines in double figures with a game-high 18 points as UM got off to a fast start before shifting into autopilot for its fourth straight win.

Michigan (20-1, 7-1 Big Ten) made 10 of its first 11 shots in opening a 23-11 lead. Glenn Robinson III added 13 points for UM. Alex Olah led the Wildcats (12-10, 3-6) with 10 points.
