Michigan beats Michigan State 79-70

ANN ARBOR — Nik Stauskas scored 25 points and Caris LeVert added 23 to help the Michigan men's basketball team to a 79-70 win over Michigan State today at the Crisler Center.

Held to four points in the first half, Stauskas exploded in the second half and helped the No. 20 Wolverines (19-7, 11-3 Big Ten) rally from a two-point deficit at halftime. The Wolverines trailed 48-43 less than six minutes into the second half but utilized a 21-5 run to earn the win.

Gary Harris led Michigan State (22-6, 11-4) with 21 points. The No. 13/14 Spartans led 36-34 at halftime.

Michigan plays at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Purdue.
