UM’s Glasgow guilty for driving impaired
6/17/2014ANN ARBOR — Graham Glasgow, an offensive lineman on the Michigan football team, pled guilty Monday to a charge of operating a vehicle while visibly impaired.
Glasgow reached a plea deal and appeared in the Washtenaw County 15th District Court. Glasgow was originally charged with operating while intoxicated, stemming from a March 15 incident.
Glasgow's sentencing for the misdemeanor charge is set for July 14.
Michigan coach Brady Hoke suspended Glasgow from parts of UM’s spring practices in March for a "violation of team expectations" and suspended the redshirt junior from the season opener Aug. 30 against Appalachian State.
ILLINOIS STATE/ROBERSON: Illinois State said former Indiana quarterback Tre Roberson has been added to the Redbirds roster.
Illinois State coach Brock Spack said the 6-foot-3, 203-pound redshirt junior has enrolled and will have two years of eligibility left.
Roberson announced earlier this month he was leaving Indiana. Because Illinois State is a Championship Subdivision school, he'll be eligible to play right away.
He played in 23 games for the Hoosiers and threw for 20 touchdowns and 2,433 yards on 197-of-330 passing. Roberson broke a leg in 2012 as a sophomore and was granted a medical redshirt.
