KISSIMMEE, Fla. The Mud Hens gave up a pair of runs in the bottom of the ninth inning in a 6-5 exhibition loss yesterday to Round Rock, Houston s Triple-A team.
Matt Roney gave up a single and a home run to lead off the ninth as Toledo dropped to 3-2-2 on the exhibition season.
Andrew Good started for the Hens and gave up eight hits and three runs in fi ve innings. Rick Kirsten threw a scoreless inning, while Mike Bumatay allowed a run in two innings of work.
Ryan Raburn continued his hot spring hitting with a single and a double off the fence in straight-away center, while Chris Shelton added an RBI double.
Today the Mud Hens will play host to Richmond, Atlanta s Triple-A affiliate.
