New smoking policy in effect at Fifth Third Field

The Mud Hens said that a new smoking policy will be in effect at Fifth Third Field this season.

The team will allow smoking in the designated area on the left-field concourse from Friday s home opener until April 30.

Starting on May 1, the park will be completely smoke-free.

A new Ohio law bans smoking within enclosed public areas.
