PAWTUCKET, R.I. - The Pawtucket Red Sox scored five times in the second inning to roll to an 8-1 victory over the Mud Hens and sweep the four-game series between the two teams.

Toledo starter Chris Lambert (1-3) gave up three hits to load the bases in the second, then walked Iggy Suarez to force home one run. Sean Danielson's double scored two more runs, and Paul McAnulty capped the rally with a two-run single.

The Red Sox added two runs in the third on a two-run homer by Angel Chavez, then finished their scoring with an RBI single by Suarez off Hens reliever Ron Chiavacci.

The Toledo offense did manage 10 hits, but eight were singles. The Mud Hens' lone run came in the seventh of Pawtucket starter Enrique Gonzalez when Will Rhymes, Dusty Ryan and Danny Worth all singled, with Worth's hit bringing home Rhymes.

The Hens, who scored just three runs in the four games against the Red Sox, have lost six of their last eight games and are 4-13 since April 19.

The Mud Hens come home to begin a four-game series with Lehigh Valley starting at 7 tonight.
