MOOSIC, Pa. - Brent Clevlen had three hits and drove in two runs for the Mud Hens last night, but it wasn't nearly enough in a 7-3 loss to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Clevlen hit his sixth home run of the season for a 1-0 lead in the second inning.

The Yankees took the lead in the fourth. An error by shortstop Brent Dlugach opened the door and John Rodriguez hit a three-run homer, his 12th.

The Yankees put the game away in the fifth with four runs on five singles, a walk and a sacrifice fly.

The Yankees' fifth would have been even more productive, but Hens left fielder Wilkin Ramirez cut down a runner at the plate.

Kevin Ross opened the Scranton fifth with a single, followed by a single by Austin Jackson.

But when Cody Ransom singled to left, Wilkin's throw beat Ross to the plate.

A walked to Shelley Duncan loaded the bases and sent Hens starter Brooks Brown to the showers.

Reliever Fu-Te Ni was greeted by consecutive singles by Juan Miranda (two RBIs) and Rodriguez (RBI), and a sacrifice fly by Justin Leone made it 7-1.

Max St. Pierre drove in a run in the seventh for the Hens on a bases-loaded groundout after Ryan Roberson and Dlugach had singled and Mike Hessman walked.

Clevlen singled home a run in the eighth to cap the scoring after a Ramirez single and an error by Scranton.
