INDIANAPOLIS - The Mud Hens cranked out three home runs and rolled to an 8-2 win over Indianapolis Friday night.

Toledo scored five runs in the opening inning off Indians starter Joe Martinez. With two outs and Cale Iorg on second base, Jeff Frazier slammed a two-run homer, his 24th of the season. A single by Ben Guez and a fielding error on a grounder by Robinzon Diaz set the table for Mike Bertram, who hit a three-run homer, his first for the Hens, to cap the scoring.

Indianapolis scored a run in the second on an RBI single by Pedro Ciriaco off Toledo starter Ryan Ketchner (5-4), but the Mud Hens got that run back in the third when Christopher White blasted his first home run with the Hens.

Toledo added a pair of runs in the sixth when Shawn Roof and White singled and Iorg pounded a two-run double.

That was more than enough offense thanks to Ketchner and the bullpen. Ketchner pitched out of a bases-loaded, one-out jam in the second - the only jam he faced in 51/3 innings - and finished with four strikeouts.

Zach Simons relieved Ketchner in the sixth and retired all eight batters he faced, six by strikeouts.

Josh Rainwater came on in the ninth and gave up back-to-back doubles to Brandon Moss and Mitch Jones but set down the next three hitters he faced to close out the Hens' fifth win in their last seven games.

Toledo outhit the Indians 12-6 as Iorg and White each had three hits, while Justin Henry added a pair of singles.
