PAWTUCKET, R.I. — Toledo continued its winning ways Sunday. The Hens beat Pawtucket 4-3 to win their seventh straight game.

Sunday's action got started right away in the top of the first. With two runners on and two outs, Bryan Pounds lined a single to left. The runner on second, Andy Dirks, tried to give Toledo an early lead. However, Dirks was thrown out at home.

Hens starter Thad Weber had a dominating start to the game, striking out five of the first six batters, but Pawtucket broke through in the top of the third when they hit back to back home runs down the left field line.

The next inning, the Hens quickly struck back. John Murrian hit an RBI sac fly to right field to plate Toledo's first run of the game. Dirks added an RBI single to tie the game. Scott Sizemore then smacked a two-run triple to give the Hens a 4-2 lead.

In the bottom of the inning, Michael McKenry belted Pawtucket's third homer of the game to close the lead to 4-3.

However, the Mud Hens and the Red Sox did not score a run for the rest game.
