Tigers-Mud Hens exhibition on FSD

The Detroit Tigers exhibition game against the Mud Hens at Fifth Third Field on April 4, will be televised on Fox Sports Detroit, the two teams announced Wednesday.

That game is one of seven Tigers' preseason games scheduled to be telecast this season. Three others will be on FSD: home games in Lakeland, Fla., against Minnesota (March 21) and Washington (March 29) as well as a game against Atlanta at Disney World (March 31). Three games will be shown on ESPN: home games against the New York Mets (March 14) and Atlanta (March 20), and a road game against Philadelphia in Clearwater (March 19).

The MLB Network also may broadcast select Tiger preseason games, but has not announced its schedule.
