Mud Hens drop game 4-1 against Columbus

The Mud Hens lost their seventh consecutive home game by a 4-1 decision to Columbus at Fifth Third Field Monday.

Toledo managed just four hits against Clippers starter T.J. McFarland and a pair of relievers. The Hens' lone run came in the third when Matt Young singled with two outs to score Argenis Diaz.

Columbus got a run in the second, then scored three times in the sixth to claim the victory. The Clippers first four batters in the sixth collected a double and three straight singles off Toledo starter Jacob Turner to score two runs, then got one more run on a two-out single by the last player Turner faced.
