Rain forces Hens to play doubleheader
8/21/2012ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Monday's game between the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and the Toledo Mud Hens was postponed due to unsafe field conditions and impending weather after a 1 hour, 23 minute delay.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader today beginning at 5:35 p.m.
Each of the games are scheduled for seven innings.
Toledo has gone 3-3 on its current 11-game road trip with no winning streak among the games.
The two games against Lehigh Valley will wrap up a four-game series between the clubs. The Mud Hens travel to Columbus for a three-game set before coming home for a five-day home stand against Louisville and Indianapolis.
