Jim Weber returns for his 39th year on Mud Hens radio, the longest continuous tenure of any International League broadcaster.

Weber will anchor the team’s radio and television broadcasts again this season.

All 144 Mud Hens regular-season games will be on radio with WCWA (1230 AM) serving as the flagship station. WFOB (1430 AM) in Fostoria will broadcast 32 games.

All 72 home games will be televised on BCSN.

Weber will provide the play-by-play for all contests, home and away, with the 72 home games simulcast on TV. For home contests Weber will be joined by Matt Melzak, who enters his fourth year on the broadcast.

Weber has broadcast 4,864 consecutive Hens games on the radio. His radio career, which began with high school broadcasts in 1969, also includes Bowling Green State University football and basketball. Weber was part of the broadcast team for the Triple-A All-Star Games in Las Vegas in 1990 and Toledo in 2006.

Melzak has broadcast Toledo Walleye games since the team’s inception for the 2009-10 season. He also was the voice of the Toledo Storm from 2003-2007.

Allie Clifton, a former University of Toledo women’s basketball standout, will provide sideline commentary for the second season in a row. She spent this past winter as the sideline reporter for Cleveland Cavaliers broadcasts.

Bill Clark will present pregame and postgame shows for the home radio broadcasts as he has for the past five seasons, while Melzak will anchor a half-hour pregame TV show.

Clark has broadcast high school games since 1993 and also has called games for the University of Michigan and Michigan State.
