COLUMBUS -- The Mud Hens managed just five hits in a 3-0 loss at Columbus today.

Toledo starter Duane Below suffered a hard-luck loss after shutting out the Clippers through the first six innings. In the seventh he gave up a leadoff single to Mike McDade, and one batter later reliever Matt Hoffman gave up a two-run homer to Cedric Hunter

Hens reliever Evan Reed gave up an eighth-inning home run to Matt Carson.

The Mud Hens were shut out by Columbus starter Joe Martinez and relievers Matt Langwell (who got the win) and Preston Guilmet (who earned the save).
