The Mud Hens finished with just six hits in a 6-2 loss to Durham at Fifth Third Field tonight.

Neither Avisail Garcia nor Mud Hens manager Phil Nevin know why Nevin was told to take Garcia out of Toledo's game against Durham at Fifth Third Field tonight.

On the first pitch to the second batter in the top of the eighth inning, Garcia was waved into the Hens dugout from his position in centerfield.

"I have no idea [what the situation is with Garcia]," Nevin said after the game, which Durham won 6-2. "I was told to take him out of the game [by Detroit's front office]. I haven't heard any other news."

Garcia said he was not injured during the contest.

"Nobody has told me anything," he said. "I was surprised [to come out]."

Toledo scored a run in the fifth on a bases-loaded walk to Nick Castellanos, and the Hens added a run in the ninth on back-to-back two-out hits by Bryan Holaday and Danny Worth.

Durham scored runs in four of the first six innings to build a lead and roll to the win.
