Gwinnett took advantage of the wildness of the Mud Hens to claim a 4-2 victory at Fifth Third Field today.

The Braves won the game with a three-run eighth fueled by Jose Ortega's struggles to throw strikes. The Toledo reliever gave up a double before hitting a batter, then issuing three straight walks to force home two runs.

Evan Reed came on and got an out before forcing home a third run.

The Mud Hens scored twice in the sixth on an RBI double by Ronny Paulino and a run-scoring single by Argenis Diaz.

But Gwinnett came back with a run in the seventh on a RBI hit by Todd Cunningham before its game-winning rally in the eighth.
