INDIANAPOLIS — Former Mud Hens pitcher Adam Wilk helped pitch his current team, the Indianapolis Indians, to a 6-3 victory over Toledo Saturday.

Wilk allowed just four hits and three walks in six innings, striking out seven Hens. Gregory Polanco, one of the top prospects in baseball, went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs.

Indianapolis got a run in the first when Chase d’Arnaud singled, stole second, took third on a single by Polanco and then scored on a balk by Mud Hens starter Robbie Ray.

In the second, the Indians got leadoff singles by Matt Hague and Chris Stewart to put runners on the corners with no one out, and Michael Martinez hit into a double play that scored Hague.

Indianapolis added a run in the third when d’Arnaud singled, stole second, and took third on a groundout and scored on a Polanco single.

Toledo got a run back in the fourth inning when Ben Guez singled, stole second, and scored on a two-out single by Hernan Perez.

The Indians scored twice in the fifth when reliever Casey Crosby gave up a two-run homer to Polanco.

Mike Hessman hammered a two-run homer in the sixth, but Indianapolis added an insurance run in the seventh off Jhan Marinez, who hit Hague with a pitch with the bases loaded to force home a run.
