Mud Hens release Nate Robertson, reliever Jhan Marinez
5/17/2014The Mud Hens released former Tigers starter Nate Robertson and reliever Jhan Marinez following Friday's game.
Robertson, who pitched in Detroit from 2003-09, was 0-2 with a 3.43 ERA in 14 relief appearances for the Hens. Marinez, who was signed as a free agent by the Tigers in the off season, was 1-2 with an 8.84 ERA in 12 games.
The moves were made to activate LHP Casey Crosby and OF Ezequiel Carrera from the disabled list.
